Our team are highly trained in many areas and are happy to look after your general health and more specific requirements. We are dedicated to listening to you, discussing your physical and mental concerns in an honest and open fashion. We will provide you with up to date, evidence-based medical advice to make informed choices when it comes to managing your health.

​For many years our practice has been involved in the education of medical students and students may visit the practice to observe consultations as part of their curriculum. We always advise patients in advance if a student is present and will only invite a student to observe your consultation with your full permission.

The practice is also a training practice for specialist trainees in general practice from the Irish College of General Practitioners training scheme. These trainees are qualified experienced doctors and are undertaking further experience and training in general practice. They remain in the practice from periods of 6 months to 1 year.

Special interests include Women's Health, Cryotherapy, Children's Health and Chronic Disease Management.
Dr Gobnait Griffin
MB BCh BAO, MICGP, DCh, DME. IMC No: 014598

Over 25 years experience in General Practice.
Senior Partner since 2013
Special interests include Women’s Health , Childhood Illnesses, Medicine of the Elderly Chronic Disease Management.
Dr Griffin is also a GP Trainer and Clonminch Medical Practice is a Training practice attached to The Mid Leinster Specialist Training Programme in General Practice.
Dr Rebecca Wu

Assistant GP since 2019.
Graduated from Trinity College Dublin 2010.Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in Canada.Completed her GP Training training in the Mid Leinster Training Scheme and has worked in General Practice throughout the midlands since 2018.
Areas of interest include paediatrics, mental health,contraception, and maternal health .She is trained in LARC (long acting reversible contraceptives-Implanon).
Dr Philippa Fogarty
B.A. (Physiology) TCD 2012, B.M. B.S. Limerick 2016, Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health 2017 RCPI.

Professional Certificate in Clinical Dermatology 2021 UCD. Community Gynaecology Course 2022 ICGP.
Completed GP Training in the Mid Leinster Training Scheme in 2021.

Assistant GP since 2021.

GP Registrar: Dr Brendan Gilmartin who will be with us until July 2024.
We are a GP Training Practice. Each year a fully qualified doctor joins our team as part of their GP training . These Doctors are attached to the Mid Leinster Training scheme.
